Childbirth - usually what comes to mind is the immense amount of pain combined with unbridled joy and love that is by giving birth to your bundle of joy. That said, friends, mothers and grandmothers sometimes hide a few things from mother-to-be.

1. The 'number 2' Feeling:

This point can be a little ' shocking, but you should know. While giving birth, you know how everyone screams, "push, push!" Well, while pushing, you feel the need to use the bathroom. Because of all the boost pressure, and you have no control on the need to run to the bathroom. Do not worry though, if this happens, nurses and others who are in your care will act as if nothing had happened.

Now this can be a bit 'too much to handle. God forbid this happens to any mother-to-be, but if you have problems during pregnancy, such as high blood pressure, for safety, your doctor may have to "empty" the child. We do not mean literally with a vacuum cleaner; so please do not panic.

3. More Maxi Pad:

This may be a known point - the bleeding rightafter childbirth. What you may not know is that there will be so much blood loss that more than one person will clean up the mess. The blood, however, does not stop there. Due to the fact that the period is paused 9 months, immediately after birth, you will recover and goes on for a few weeks, which requires more maxi pads.

4. Lots Of Pain:

Continuous bleeding calls for a giant maxi pad, and, unfortunately, this is the beginning of your maxi pads journey.

7. Too much of hair loss:

A hard pill to swallow is losing a lot of hair. Yes, the hair is thick and strong during pregnancy thanks to all the estrogen, but after giving birth, estrogen levels drop causing a higher percentage of your hair to fall.

8. Swollen feet:

swollen feet are a common side effect of pregnancy. However, after delivery, you may notice that, despite the swelling decreases, your foot size may be even bigger than it was. This may be temporary for some women, but for others it may be permanent.

9. Too much sweat in the nights

sweaty nights are something to get used to the first few weeks. You can wake up in mass suit that you do not understand if you're down with the flu. Sweating may occur overnight and may require a change of sheets.

10. You could wear a 'diaper Mom':

Maxi pads that you wear when your water breaks and during pregnancy to place your period, can be known as "diapers mom". I am literally nappies for new mothers. Yes, they do help with the blood, but did you know that they have another use? This diaper has glorified ice in it to provide relief from postpartum.

We sincerely hope that we have not petrified with these hidden secrets. On the positive side, it will now be even more prepared for whatever donation birth can throw at you.
